The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is proud to welcome Jade Ritchie as an ILF Board Member. Jade's expertise will help positively guide our programs for years to come.

Jade is a Gooreng Gooreng woman living on Larrakia Country, and a widely respected leader in Indigenous affairs, sustainability, and economic development. With over two decades of experience across government, community and the private sector, Jade brings a deep commitment to Aboriginal leadership, cultural literacy, and creating meaningful opportunities in remote Australia.

Currently the General Manager of Business Development at Tellus, Jade leads Indigenous engagement and strategic partnerships for one of Australia’s most innovative environmental remediation companies. She also played a visible role in the Voice to Parliament referendum campaign, advocating for First Nations voices and futures.

“I joined the ILF Board because every child deserves to grow up with stories that reflect who they are, where they come from, and who they can become. As a mother, some of my most precious moments have been reading with my children — I want all families to have that.”  says Jade

Jade’s lived experience, cultural knowledge and strong governance background make her a powerful addition to ILF as we continue working with remote Communities to support literacy that is Community-led, culturally rich, and future-focused.

Welcome, Jade.
